Fibroblast Plasma

Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening

fibroblast plasma

Plasma Pen is the newest cosmetic procedure to combat wrinkles, loss of collagen, and sagging skin. As we age, the dermal layer of our skin thins, we produce less collagen, and we lose elasticity. All of these factors produce sagging and wrinkling of the skin. The Plasma Pen is a soft-surgery procedure targeting a wide variety of skin conditions including loss of elasticity, sagging, and wrinkles that have been traditionally treated with fillers or plastic surgery.

What can be treated with Plasma Pen

Fibroblasting using Plasma Pen produces excellent results for any area of the body, particularly the face and neck regions.

  • Skin lifting the neck, jawline, chin, brows, under-eyes, nasolabial folds and lower face
  • Restoring skin vitality
  • Reducing lax or sagging skin
  • Tighten boggy lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin (Non surgical blepharoplasty)
  • Acne active spots and scarring
  • Stretch mark reduction
  • Remove moles, age spots and pigmentation
  • Skin tag removal
  • Cosmetic tattoo removal
  • Post surgery scar removal

  • How long does the Fibroblast treatment take?

The therapy takes from 60 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the size of the treatment area, including time for the numbing cream to take effect (30 minutes).

  • What areas of the body can be treated?

Fibroblasting produces excellent results for any area of the body, particularly the face and neck regions.

  • Is the Fibroblast treatment painful?

Some patients may feel some discomfort, depending on the treatment area. Numbing cream is used to anaesthetise the treatment area.

  • What happens after treatment?

Initially, the treated area will appear swollen and raw while the skin naturally forms a crust. Once this crust has fallen off, patients will start to see the results, which will improve after around 3-4 weeks, once the collagen and connective tissue have had a chance to grow.

  • How many treatments do I need?

Most patients only need one treatment, but some opt for 2-3 sessions to optimise results. The treatment can be repeated after the skin has fully regenerated (after 6-8 weeks).

Results can last for 2-4 years depending on the treatment area. The ageing process is continuous, and some wrinkles can recur quickly due to constant use of facial muscles.

  • Benefits of Fibroblasting with Plasma Pen vs. Cosmetic Surgery
    • No injectable anesthetic required
    • No scalpel, no cutting and no ablation of the skin
    • No stitches and no scars
    • Very low risk procedure with minimal side effects
    • Short downtime
    • No thinning of the skin and more uniform than ablative resurfacing using lasers
    • No asymmetries and no risks of any overcorrection
    • Cost effective
    • Long lasting results – usually around 2-3 years and can be permanent
  • How much downtime do I need?

Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment. The procedure causes redness, swelling and a brown “crust” in the treatment area which may persist for up to 8 days, so some patients consider taking around a week of downtime. This is a personal preference and is different for everyone.

  • What are the risks of the Plasma Pen treatment?

The Plasma Pen is a relatively safe treatment, particularly when compared to more invasive cosmetic procedures. Risks include:

    • Swelling and bruising
    • Scabbing and crusting
    • Skin discoloration
    • Scarring
  • What skin types may not be good candidates for Plasma Pen treatment?

Darker skin tones (African American, African, Latin, Native American, Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian ancestry and people of mixed ethnicities) may not be good candidates for Plasma Pen.

  • What is the cost of Plasma Pen Treatment?

The Treatment cost start from $200. This is depending on the treatment area and complexity of the treatment. Please ask our friendly reception staff.
